During his stay with ABA, Eric Peter will continue his research into relation(s) and intimacies under late capitalism, using language (i.e. poetry) as medium of speculation. Given the space and structure of ABA, he specifically wants to develop his latest interest in choreopoetry, the merging of poetries with dance and movement, to come to a point where poetic bodies embody that which words on paper seem to not fully be able to. From previous smaller productions, Peter wishes to produce a larger choreopoem with a multitude of collaborators. In conjunction with his performative work, Peter will juxtapose textual works with visual documentation in a publication (made in joint effort with photographer and filmmaker Hamed Kabouk).
