As part of its long-term investigation into collaborative and participatory practices, ADA will continue its research by activating six reading sessions in which different texts will be discussed.
The first session takes place on Thursday 20 September at 15:30. We will discuss the tex ‘Production Lines’ by Irit Rogoff and ‘Art as Occupation: Claims for an Autonomy of Life’ by Hito Steyerl. Links to the text can be found on www.adarotterdam.nl.
The reading group takes place both in Berlin and Rotterdam, each time at a different location. For the Berlin reading group we will meet in front of the Haus des Lehrers on Alexanderstrasse 9. For the Rotterdam reading group we’ll meet at the ADA studio’s on Delftsestraat 9.
We kindly ask everyone who is interested in participating in the reading group to read the text in advance & to bring a bicycle.
The team had published a text online that had to be read in advance. Then the group cycled with the bikes to the location and started to talk about the text. People had written down questions and the discussion also went into different directions.
