Eric Peter, ‘Economy as Intimacy’
Fig. 1 – The crafting of the poem ‘Two-and-a Half’ at the studio of the ABA resident’s apartment. The paper strips remind one perhaps of the paper shredder, making strips of paper out of what was one an A4 (or whatever international paper format). It is a process of poetry-making i’d applied earlier with the poem ‘Delbaram’, part of the second volume of poetries under ‘Economy as Intimacy’. From the cut-ups, i shuffle and reshape the poem into a new one, a more “perfect” one; corrupting original and initial thoughts around something, into a broken or non-linear narrative.
